What is Geniffy
Geniffy is a memory for AI. You add what people say and share: notes, conversations, files and web pages. Geniffy reads them, keeps each fact with the line it came from and when it was said, and hands back what matters when your model, your agent or your AI app needs it.
Three ways to use it
- In your app. Give each of your users a memory of their own, from Python, TypeScript or any language over HTTPS. Start with the quickstart.
- In the AI tools you use. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Codex read and add to one memory through the MCP server, and the Claude Code plugin recalls and saves by itself.
- Through your coding agent. Paste one prompt into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex inside your project, and it wires memory into your code.
What makes it different
- Every fact has a source. Each memory keeps the exact line it came from, who said it and when, so you can show where an answer came from, or check it.
- It says when it doesn't know. When nothing stored supports an answer,
ask()returns no answer and a sentence saying so, andcontext()tells your model not to guess. - Today's truth, with history. Dates are kept as dates. When something changes, the newer fact replaces the older one, and the older one stays in the history.
- One memory per user, nothing across. Spaces keep each of your users apart, and one call erases everything held for one of them.
- One memory across AI apps. What you tell Claude, ChatGPT finds, and Cursor too.
- Stored in India. See Security and privacy.
How it works
1
Add
Send a note, a conversation, a PDF or Word file, or a web page. Each becomes a source.
2
Learn
Geniffy reads the source and keeps each fact in it as its own memory, with the line it came from and the date it is about, usually within a few seconds.

Correct and forget
When a memory is wrong, say what is right; when someone asks to be forgotten, forget them. See Correct and forget.
The whole path, from what you add to what comes back, is in How memory works.
